Once in a lifetime you visit a place that blows your mind and change your view of everything. Once in a lifetime you visit Amsterdam for the first time and you fall in love with a city that is not in your blood. I can`t wait to come back to visit again this beautiful city full of incredible kind people. I am still enjoying slowly this great experience. Let´s stop the words and start the images.

Despite not being a great fan of the holidays, I admit that I have enjoyed meeting with friends and family, enjoy a snack in  that only December allows and finally sit in a corner  to read after the post holiday sales/shopping anxiety.

A pesar de no ser gran entusiasta de éstas fiestas, admito que he disfrutado reunirme con amigos y familia, disfrutar un aperitivo que sólo diciembre permite y sentarme finalmente a leer en una esquina tras la ansiedad post ventas/compras navideñas.


I share my holiday outfit. Alluded colors included. Some vintage, some fur, do not miss the crop top and the inconsistency (or perhaps insistence) to wear sandals when your feet are frozen by cold temperatures.
Les comparto  navideño que he usado jamás. Colores alusivos incluidos. Algo vintage, algo de fur, no falta el crop top y la incongruencia ( o talvez insistencia) de usar sandalias cuando tus pies se congelan por las bajas temperaturas. 


Después de todo, lo importante en estas fechas no es precisamente lucir los mejores atuendos. El objetivo es disfrutar y compartir. Sin tanta ceremonia, departe de todos los colaboradores de Lazycatstyle les deseo felices fiestas!

 Este es Momo. También llamado Mumscat. Demasiado rebelde para vestir la joyería y adornos que compré para él, prefiere la desnudez. Seguro piensa que soy un ser altamente ridículo por mi obsesión a las capas al vestir.
This is Momo. Also called Mumscat. Too rebellious to wear jewelry and ornaments I bought for him, prefers nudity. Sure he thinks I'm a highly ridiculous for my obsession to wear layers.


Su locura de las 10:00 pm es un atentado demasiado adorable que dejará rasguños por todas partes que serán justificados por esos grandes ojos brillantes que dicen “te atacaré en cinco segundos como psicópata peludo”.

 His 10:00 pm  madness  is a highly adorable attack, but surely is going to leave scratches everywhere,  justified by those big bright eyes that say "I will attack you in five seconds like a furry psychopath".

A pesar de mi terrible obsesión gatuna y gracias a mis múltiples alergias, momo es mi primera mascota felina y seguro no será la última. Le llame Momo por el libro de Michael Ende, cuyos pequeños hombres grises con cigarros grises sobre las calles grises quedaron estampados permanentemente en mi mente. Claro está, creí que sería hembra y que su temperamento sería más calmado. 

Despite my terrible obsession with cats and thanks to my multiple allergies, Momo is my first feline pet and definitly will not be the last. I called him Momo to honour the Michael Ende's book, whose little gray men with gray cigars on gray streets were permanently stamped on my mind. Of course, I thought it would be female and that his temperament would be calmer.

Yesterday jam: Fur, rain and poetry

Preguntaréis: ¿Y dónde están las lilas?

-The rain is here, again. The first drops are the announce of the best moments of the year for me, especially because I am particularly sensitive and rational with the rain. Rain equals thoughts in my mind, so excuse me if I get a little bit poetical or intellectual. (A dose of sarcasm is implied in this text.)-

I know this is not the confessionary or the psychologist office but I got to say sorry to all of you. Is not what you think, I am deeply sorry if you are dying watching these images because of the heat while I dress a fur coat. Is just, we always follow international trends, even the local stores buy the clothing in other countries following the wrong styles for our climate and market specifications. Is going to be weird to show you my bathing suit photographs when you`ll be into an ice-cube but I must, for the sake of this lonely and forgotten place that no one knows and apparently no one cares. But a change is happening, I can feel it, and the change can be quicker if I contribute to show you how these small countries can contribute to fashion, arts, culture, etc. as well as our forever favorite contributors. Fashion is happening in here, induced by a social change, an explosion is near and for the first time, I want to be aware and explode with it.

The last piece of winter

One of the things Ana and I enjoy the most, is to play around with clothes and accesories, so this time aside of having a very long talk because we haven't been able to see each other often, she came to my place to play dress up with me and my clothes, so she styled me! it was very fun and we played with Médium accesories which are very beautiful and well crafted, their unique design flatters basic wardrobe and also adds something to the over the top fur I ended up in, which by the way I adore!

This fur is one of those pieces in my closet I love so much, and is so appreciated that I never worn, except for a couple of times ( including this one). When something new enters in my collection I must use it like crazy for a few days to make my memory record their existence and not to recast again into the darkness of my closet, next to the winter coats in summer. In memoriam of all this pieces in the back of the closet I share this pictures, took by Babar, with the furry stole I love the most and I will try to revive in the future. (Notice that the t-shirt and jeans I wore are my every day kimchi, those “obsession” pieces.)

Esta piel es una de esas piezas en el armario que por amar tanto y volverse tan preciadas jamás utilice salvo un par de ocasiones (dos incluyendo esta).  Cuando algo nuevo ingresa a mi colección, debo usarlo obsesivamente por unos días para que mi memoria pueda captar su existencia y no refundirlo nuevamente en la oscuridad detrás de los abrigos de invierno en verano.  En memoria de todas esas piezas en el fondo del closet comparto estas fotos, tomadas por Babar, con la estola peluda que amo más y que trataré de revivir en el futuro. (Nótese que la camiseta y jeans que estoy utilizando son mi kimchi diario, son de esas piezas de la “obsesión”.)

The styling of Patti Wilson blew my mind. I just love every single piece, the contrast between leather and lace, shadows and lights, the birds, over the knee boots and this Burberry jacket we all love. Great editorial.

El styling de Patti Wilson me dejó alucinada. Amo cada una de las piezas, el contraste entre cuero y encaje, luces y sombras, las aves, las botas over the knee y esta chaqueta de Burberry que amamos desde la pasarela. Excelente editorial.

It all began with a quickie post, with no more of two decent pictures (yeah, this post), then i realized how different i look in here compared with the last post and two posts ago, sometimes i look like a different person but i just can´t pick one style and stick to it. I love fashion, i love versatile clothing and even when i don´t like everything in fashion (there is some things i hate like crocs, i know they´re comfortable but they are a serious nay nay for me!), i like to choose the best of every style, that pieces i know are matching my closet or could match a styling in a photoshoot.

As a designer and stylist, i can´t have an exclusive point of view, i need to watch the different trends and every single collection so at the end of the day the result is this eclectic thing i call personal style. Of course, my style is pretty different from some styling jobs i got, but you know, sometimes is about occupational hazard. (Yes, fashion industry is playing with fire!).

Am not sure about the edition of this, i know is Vogue but might be Italy or France. The important is that we love Ana Wintour, at least i love her! i wanna be like her one day, maybe is the only person who is part of my switch-papers-with dream. I love her style, she dress in the right way according her age, she is very elegant and fresh all the time. I really love this editorial, you can feel her escence in all the pictures. I wouldn´t wear some clothes but i absolutly adore the furs, maybe in 20 years or something.
