The Queen of Coachella
I must confess. I am in love. In love with Vanessa Hudgens Coachella version ( the Disney girl is not included in my fantasy). This is the perfect way to pair a complete festival outfit. We must learn, not copy but learn. ( Remember that next year this is going to be "too last year" so save the moment and try your best next year).

Debo confesar. Estoy enamorada. Enamorada de Vanessa Hudgens versión Coachella ( la chica Disney no está incluida en mi fantasía). Esta es la forma perfecta de utilizar un atuendo de festival. Debemos aprender, no copiar sino aprender. ( Recuerden que el próximo año este atuendo será demasiado "año pasado", así que guardemos el momento e intentemos algo mejor el próximo año).

Yesterday Jam: Over and out
Música de Stacey Kent en el fondo, alternada con algo de Miles Davis , John Legend y una que otra colada de James Blake. El cielo parcialmente nublado, alto deseo de hibernar toda la tarde. No, no es posible quedarse en casa. El deber llama y aunque sienta un ronroneo por dentro que quiere aferrarse al cómodo sillón adornado con sábanas y mascotas peludas, debo salir y pretender que es un jueves como todos.
Al arrastrarme por la mañana solo puedo pensar que sea lo que sea que vista, debe ser algo cómodo que me consuele en la separación con ese lugar tibio y comprensivo, esa esquina que reserva libros de Cortázar y Neruda para mi, que no volveré a ver hasta la noche, cuando el cansancio me haga olvidar esa pelea matutina que parece autenticarse a diario y perder valor durante el día.
El maxi dress intercambiado por una nueva amiga, la pequeña satchel que amo, mi chaqueta impermeable para evadir los efectos de la inevitable lluvia, el anillo de piedra extra-grande de Médium y el festival de cadenas que no se despegan de mi últimamente. Todo esto conforma mi atuendo, acompañado de loafers en color de contraste que pretenden afianzar mi comodidad y esos lentes en forma de corazón que agregan un toque de humor y femineidad para balancear los días grises.
Después de todo debo admitir, que por mucho que el frío me recuerde mi romance con mis horas de sueño, amo este clima locamente. Además puedo desempolvar algunas piezas de invierno que amo y vestir capas de nuevo. Al final la lluvia entona con la melancolía que se siente en estos días, pareciera que finalmente las cosas se ponen en orden y hasta el mismo clima se manifiesta a su favor.
Some mornings are harder than others; I
need a cozy outfit to comfort me with the weather and the separation with my
bed. A maxi dress swapped with a new friend, XXL stone ring from Médium, and a
festival of chains are my choice. Everything paired with bright blue loafers
and heart sunglasses to add some humor and femininity into my outfit to balance
the cloudy day.

Trends: Modern Lust
Contrasting and completing all the minimalism, we got recently a baroque craze. Embroidery, golden sculptures, so much Dolce & Gabanna and Alexander McQueen to end up with a golden brooch the trend of lace and flower prints.
We can understand how related is this to our poor economy, we can have a little luxury detail and afford a pop-up accessory more than an entire outfit, especially if the style is not going to last until the next Reagan rescue plan.
The main references? Street-wear pictures from fashion weeks and bloggers around the world. Viva la arm party, coloring our outfits like a rainbow, prints over prints and the Italian style decoration.
La locura por el barroco surge para contrastar y complementar todo el minimalismo de las tendencias anteriores. Bordados, esculturas doradas, mucho Dolce & Gabbana y Alexander McQueen para terminar con broche de oro la gran tendencia de estampados florales y encajes que nos acompaña desde hace varias temporadas.

2012 Trends: Soft Tech
2012 was a year full
of minimalism, soft colors (contrasting last trend) and a lot of technology
involved with fashion. To ipad sleeves to advanced fabrics with digital prints
and laser cuts. In art, the trend of soft collages related with fashion was huge;
we can also see the high tech collages of Clark Golsby.
In the other hand we
got this eternal crush with the cute, fresh and free spirited trend. We have
plenty of pastel colored inspirations, not only from this year. As always, we
love the Wildfox lookbook full of fun and feminity, and yes, we love the full
package of this trend in the college graduation collection of Yvone Kwok. The
flower crowns were a big trend this year, to Tavi Gevinson to Lana del Rey
using it everywhere.
A macaroon ice-creamed
trend we got to love, includes an edition of Nicola Formichetti curating a
Dazed and Confused issue. Kyary Pamyu in the cover.
El 2012 estuvo lleno de minimalismo,
colores suaves (contrastando la tendencia mostrada anteriormente) y mucha
tecnología involucrada con la moda. Desde fundas de Ipad a telas con tecnología
implementada, estampados digitales y cortes con láser. En el arte, la tendencia
de los collages suaves relacionados con moda fue muy grande; podemos mencionar
los collages “High tech” de Clark Golsby.
De forma opuesta tenemos el amor eterno con
la tendencia dulce, fresca, de espíritu libre. Tenemos incontables
inspiraciones en colores pastel, no únicamente del 2012. Como siempre, amamos
el lookbook de Wildfox, lleno de diversión y femineidad, al igual que el
paquete completo de la tendencia incluido en la colección de graduación de
Yvonne Kwok. Las coronas de flores fueron un gran acontecimiento, de Tavi
Gevinson a Lana del Rey usándolas por todas partes.
Una tendencia de macaroons con helado que

2012 Trends: Melancholia energy
2012 was such a great year to remember. We resume the best year’s trends that made us dream and get passionate about the fashion environment again. This post is sponsored by Médium.

La moda ha sido siempre una buena aliada de los fenómenos sociales, es un reflejo de todos los eventos y cambios que ocurren en la sociedad. Esta tendencia se enfoca en el poder de los medios sociales, los fuertes movimientos sociales como Occupy Wall St. Y las personas con gran espíritu quienes nos inspiraron para luchar por nuestros derechos como Mona Eltahawy y Mia Farrow. Collage trends parte 1
Because darling, this is how we feel today.
Flor Oscura: Flower prints are a favorite trend, we like it with a touch of black and a twist of non-traditional use. A little bit of fruits and butterflies. Remember to wear some flower patterns over another flower patterns and a lot of basics in black and white.
Los estampados florales son una de nuestras tendencias favoritas, con un toque de negro y un cambio de uso no tradicional. Un poco de frutas y mariposas. Recuerden de usar los estampados floreados sobre otros estampados floreados y mezclarlos con una montaña de prendas básicas en blanco y negro.
Rosa, me siento rosa: I know RF is not a huge fan of pink, she never has been that kind of "pretty of pink" gal, but this is dedicated to her ( to bug her of course!), Add some leather and lux to complete the look. We like pink, but pink can be rough as well, pink can be more realistic and less fantastic.
Se que RF no es gran seguidora del rosado, nunca fue el tipo de chica "pretty of pink" , por eso esto va dedicado a ella (para molestarla un poco, claro!). Agreguen un poco de cuero y accesorios elegantes y sofisticados para completar el atuendo. Nos gusta el rosa, pero el rosa puede ser tosco también, un poco mas real y menos fantasía.
Pastel, pastel: Again, like we saw some time ago, the macaroons colors are more alive than ever. Don´t get too cheesy, get some pastel colors and make it stylish. Remember to wear accesories! Sunglasses with a gorgeous pastel frame, pretty underwear, some bangles and rings and maybe a Rottweiler in your arms.
Nuevamente, como les mostramos algún tiempo atrás, los colores de macaroons están mas vivos que nunca. Sin exagerar, usar colores pastel y verse con estilo ( no aniñado ni super-lolita) es posible. Hay que recordar agregar accesorios! Anteojos con preciosos aros pastel, ropa interior linda y algunos anillos y pulseras y talvez, solo talvez, un Rotweiller en los brazos.

Lippes strikes again. One of my favorite MBFW shows, with versatile ready to
wear pieces, full of clean silhouettes and a little architectonic influence.
The pastel colors shout spring! No mention those prints and see through
clothing. Always classy, fresh and modern, i want to wear every single piece in
Adam collection. FuckyeahAdam!
Then we got the "NEUTRALS" trend. A - forever classic-, monochromatic palette. We can´t live without our black and white looks every season. Again, we got some vintage prints, a polka dotted friend included. (We can also see the mix of multiply prints in monochromatic colors).
And we end with a Balmain heritage trend: "MILITARY BALLERINA", because one military jacket is not enough in our closet and we need that chiffon skirt to rock on in the summer! I love the combination of white, a classic color in summer. (But am still afraid to use it in a total look, black is easier).

selected three groups of trends in this collection. Starting with the "VINTAGE VIBE" trend, full of nostalgic prints.
We can see roses again, but not the traditional forms we were used to with
D&G a few seasons ago. We can also mention the soft colors and the romantic
vibe to spice up the modern city girl style.
