Cada temporada hay tendencias predominantes e irresistibles, las tendencias “vintage” son
infaltables porque definitivamente traer
pedazos del pasado y mezclarlos con los increíbles estilos modernos es uno de
nuestros pasatiempos favoritos, atado a la nostalgia y al reciclaje tanto de
ideas como de materiales. Gracias a esto tenemos una mezcla ecléctica y
exquisita a la que llamamos moda, esa ola imparable que inunda tumblr estos días.
Últimamente la tendencia Grunge inspirada en los estilos de
destrucción chic a lo Courtney Love y Drew Barrymore no deja mi cabeza en paz.
Trozos de denim, camisas de cuadros y botas militares combinados con
mini-vestidos tipo baby-doll que brindan el contraste femenino a la rudeza que
caracteriza el movimiento grunge, con una deliciosa carencia de
orientación. No podemos olvidar esos estampados
perdidos de flores, camisetas de bandas y pantalones desgastados, más por la mente
que por la propia naturaleza. Hay que complementar todo con el soundtrack
oficial con Nirvana y Pearl Jam para transportarnos a los noventas, los frescos
noventas que influyeron tanto para definir todo esto que somos y no somos.
A modo de scrapbook les dejo unas imágenes para que puedan
inspirarse y revivir algunas piezas perdidas en su closet en una fantasía
sacada del propio MTV de los noventas, cuando los reality shows no se habían
robado la pantalla con su decadencia.

Lately the
Grunge trend inspired in the destruction chic styles of Courtney Love and Drew
Barrymore can´t get out of my head. Some denim, plaid shirts and military boots
combined with mini dresses (baby-doll style please), bringing the feminine contrast to the rudeness
proper of this movement, with a delicious
lack of orientation. We can´t forget to add a couple of lost flower
prints, band tees and distressed jeans (distressed because of our minds more
than the nature and use). We need to complete all with the official soundtrack sponsored
by Nirvana and Pearl jam to transport us directly to the nineties, the fresh
nineties that influenced enormously to define what we are and what we don´t.
In a very
scrapbook way I left you some images to get inspired. Maybe you´ll revive some
lost pieces from your closet in a fantasy from MTV-nineties, you know, when reality shows hadn´t
stolen the screen with decadence.
fashion is a very greedy animal, guess cobain wouldn't be happy about it:) 90s and grunge was the time of my highschool - me and my friends all looked like that and I still do have this 'whatever' attitude when it comes to fashion. oh, bitter-sweet teenage years!:)
